Open Pottery Studio

The pottery studio is open to all adults on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. 

Open studio is designed for those who have taken beginner or intermediate pottery classes and can work independently. Participants work at their own pace on projects of their choosing, such as throwing larger amounts of clay, slab building, or surface design with texture and carving. Studio time includes access to glazes and kiln firing for items created during each session. A facilitator will be available for open studio, but no formal instruction will be provided.

Costs are $17.00 per session and $5 per pound of clay.

Please note

• Membership is typically suited for potters who can work independently and are confident in all stages of the pottery-making process.

• Clay is required for members to purchase at an additional expense from the studio.

• Clay pieces that require the use of larger space within the kiln will be fired utilizing our firing contract, to ensure equitable access to the kiln.

• Members are expected to adhere to studio policies, including maintaining a clean and safe environment.
