Drinks, Derby, and Drollery

Tickets can be purchased at Ben Franklin’s in Crystal Falls, Alpha Michigan Brewing Company or through the Contemporary Center.

Drinks, Derby, and Drollery is an event focused on bringing the community together for dinner, social fun, and to increase awareness of what the Contemporary Center organization provides. This annual event is replacing our October beer and wine fundraiser. We have organized this event to help the Center raise funds to promote classes and recruit fabulous educators who provide a safe environment for artistic expression.  Classes are open to all; from local and visiting youth, adults, and even Veteran specific classes, the Center invites all to come together for engaging, cultural, and artistic activities and enrichment.

We believe that every member of our community deserves access to an outlet to express themselves artistically, and your support helps us to aspire to reach this goal.

The Contemporary Center has exciting activities planned for the evening, including various wine and specialty drink tasting opportunities, signature cocktails created by Young’s, buffet style dinner, fabulous raffles, and a dessert auction. And the best part is all proceeds go towards supporting our programs and services right here in Iron County.

We would be honored if you could join us for this special event and enable our Center to keep supporting the arts locally. Your ticket purchase or donation will help us to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
